Jalmahal; A Majestic Water Palace

Jalmahal, an enchanting sight nestled in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, is a grand palace predominantly submerged and made of red sandstone.

Built or restored by Jai Singh II in 1734, this palace, once a hunting lodge for the Maharaja, offers unique architectural charm with its low-rise symmetrical design. Currently, it is being restored with the Jal Tarang project, highlighting its cultural and historical significance.
