Designed by architect Yoshinobu Ashihara, the concert hall features two main spaces: the 1,560-seat Concert Hall and the 720-seat Hōgaku Hall, intended for traditional Japanese performances. The use of urushi-finished walls enhances the acoustic experience, crafted with precision by Nagata Acoustics after thorough testing with a scale model. This venue also hosts the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa as its resident orchestra.
