  • Vertigo Alert!

The view at the Macau Tower is beautiful but be sure that you or your companion does not suffer from vertigo. My father did a double take on the tower's glass floor. He did suffer nausea for a few minutes after looking down directly from the glass floor and was very careful since then not to lean on glass walls.

Be careful when you're trying out almond cookie samples. One lady had just baked them and was handing them out to shoppers on the street. It was nice & warm. So when I took a bite, the cookies crumbled and burned my throat as it went down. Ouch! I wasn't alone. 6 other "victims" were choking and fanning their mouths. My friend thought it was funny...

  • Swaying Cable Car in Guia Hill

Take proper precautions when taking the cable car in Guia Hill. Unlike other cable cars, the ones available here are swaying and moving a bit faster than I expected. Be extra careful when travelling with seniors, my mother has bad knees and had difficulty getting inside the car.

  • Get only licensed taxis at the ferry...

Guys will be waiting for unsuspecting tourists as they come off the ferries in the terminal. They will offer taxis but their charges are far higher than the real cabs. Just go outside to the rank. They are very cheap.
