Waterfalls Tips (4)

Asah Waterfalls

Asah waterfalls (also known as Mukut waterfalls) is located in the deserted Kampung Asah in Tioman.

Set amidst the lush tropical rainforest, it is said to be one of the best and most famous waterfalls in Tioman since it was also fetured in the hollywood movie South Pacific. The loud cascading water stands out sharply against the tranquillity of its surrounding. There is a well-worn path leading to the top of the waterfall although it may be quite a work-out for those less fit. This natural beauty will provide a welcomed change from the beach and is well suited for a picnic lunch.

The waterfall can be accessed through the newly built pier at Kampung Asah or by trekking from the nearby Kampung Mukut.
