Magdaragat - Dampa sa Dasmarinas: Fresh Seafood Galore!
Dampa-style restaurants are fast becoming popular among locals. Dampa is a food place wherein a wet market is surrounded by about a dozen small restaurants. Guests first go to the market to buy the essentials (fish, shrimp, shellfish, squid... there are meats too!) and then go to the restaurant of choice where the raw food will be cooked to whatever local dish the guest may request to the cook (with cooking charge of course). The first 'dampa' is said to be the one at Paranaque City.
Sample expense @ Popsy's Grill & Restaurant:
1. Pinaputok na Tilapia (1kg of Tilapia is P100, cooking charge is P160/kg) -- P260
2. Lapu-Lapu Sweet & Sour (1kg of Lapu-Lapu is P350, cooking charge is P160) --510
3. Sinigang na Hipon (1kg of shrimp is P450, cooking charge is P160) -- 610
SMB Light is P37 per bottle. Rice per bowl is P80 (good for three normal people; only two for kanin boys/ girls =D).
Favorite Dish: 1. Lapu-Lapu (grouper) Sweet and Sour; 2. Sinigang na Hipon/ Sugpo (shrimp sour soup, similar to Thailand's Tom Yum Gung); 3. Sinigang na Tanigue (Spanish Mackerel) sa Miso; 4. Sizzling Mixed SeafoodRelated to:

Mount Sea Restaurant: Romantic Dining
The cone-roofed Mount Sea Restaurant is a high-five for romantic dining. That is, when you choose to dine on the restaurant's cozy dim-lit tables by the pool side. There's nothing wrong with the restaurant's interior though; take your lunch there to avoid the sun for a while.
Favorite Dish: I liked their potato and macaroni salads. Their Filipino buffet breakfast is forgetful.Related to:
