    Henna Tatoo

Hennat Tatoo or Mehendi is an ancient ritual and a form of art dated back 5,000 years ago.

It is considered good luck in India, Middle East and North Africa. No Indian wedding is ever complete without Henna Tatoo.

The crush henna leaves combined with teas and herbs are made into a cooling paste used to creat contemporary designs and exotic patters.

You can have your Henna done at Little India.

    Get some mehendi done

Mehendi or henna tatoos are very important in Indian ceremony and wedding. Brides will have their feet and hands covered in the mehendi. Anyone can get this done. Usually, people go for a more simpler design. More intricate work is reserved for weddings. Many places in little india offer this work. Just walk down Serangoon road.

Some advice, if you are getting it on your feet-where sandals. It takes 35-45 minutes for the henna to try. It then flakes off. You want to be quite still while it dries-since the littlest movement can smear it. It lasts for a little over a week.
