New Asia Bar: 71st Floor Drinks with a Slip

This place was on my list. I really like views from above a city. And this place did not disappoint. I even survived the slanted floor and found that I enjoyed being up there. Too bad I didn't have more time here but there will be another time and at least I had beautiful weather.

New Asia Bar: Party To A Breathtaking View of Singapore

Going to the top floor of Singapore's highest hotel is a must for most tourists. The view from the 71st floor is pretty amazing - you can see for miles.

But at night, the view is spectacular! If you just want to sit down and enjoy the view, get a table near the window. After 10pm, the DJ spins dance music (anything from top 40s to dance tunes) so you can boogie on down too. Between 3 - 9pm and 12 - 1am, drinks are 50% off. Try the martinis and mojitos. Cover charge is $20.

If you're afraid of heights, check out Introbar at the ground floor.

Dress Code No shorts or slippers.

New Asia Bar: Bar with a View

Located on the 70th floor of the tallest hotel in Singapore, New Asia Bar's been doing brisk business drawing in locals and tourists alike looking for a good view with their evening out. Brought two visiting friends over to check it out and paid the cover charge (SGD 25) as we weren't hotel guests.

Go early; when we went around 9:30 there was not queue at the door but by 10:30pm there was already a long queue of about 30 people waiting.

We found the service to be average. A friend was looking for a non-alcoholic option but server had no clue what the bar had for that (?!!) Just not what you'd expect from a place of this calibre.

But must say that the view is truly superb and worth the trip itself. Was not crazy about the music but would like to think that the DJ was just warming up... we were there a teensy bit early.

Business Hours:
3.00pm to 1.00am (Sun to Tues)
