Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear when going to hot and humid Singapore. It is best to bring extra light colored t-shirts and athletic of jogging shorts rather than dark colored shirts or jeans as the dark colored shirts tend to absorb more heat rather than reflect the heat of the sun. Singapore is a tropical and humid country and it sits just accros the sea hence light colored t-shirts is best for reflecting part of the heat and humidity and having jeans add weight when walking for long stretches unlike wearing the lighter walking shorts or athletic shorts.
you will have to bring a change of clothes as you would sweat a lot while touring the Universal Studios and Sentosa Island. more so if you don;t take a bath everyday, specially for the white dudes.
Luggage and bags A small backpack to keep your camera, purse and other small items in, l found carrying anything around at all will add to your discomfort as it is so hot there. Even with a backpack the humidity makes you sweat and feel uncomfortable. Carry water with you at all times, a face cloth and deodorant to freshen up.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear Cotton clothing, it gets really warm and humid it's best to wear shorts and tee-shirts. You might need a cardigan when you enter any of the large department stores / hotels as it gets cold when the air con is on. Some major hotels will not permit you entry with certain types of clothes so be sure to take something suitable like a summer dress and for men cotton trousers and a shirt.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear I highly recommend getting a small hand towel to keep in your bag that you will carry around. Between the constant rain during some days and the very warm temps you will finding having something to wipe down with desirable.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear It's mostly sunny all year round. Ideally pack clothes that are light and comfortable, i.e. shorts, t-shirts, loafers/slippers.
Certain dining outlets and clubs (especially those at hotels) have dress codes, so do bring along something semi-formal, such as long pants and covered shoes for men. Ladies seldom have a hard time getting in to such places. For the men, some of these venues that require a certain dress code may turn you away even though you're tourists, so just be mindful.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear Singapore is a tropical country and hence light clothing will be enough.Perhaps bringing an unbrella would be useful as slight rain may came unexpected.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear Light clothing as the weather can get real hot and sticky. Comfortable shoes as one will certainly do a lot of walking in Singapore.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies Mosquito repellant especially if you are going to Night Safari, the Zoo, or the Botanic Garden. Dengue is prevalent at this time.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear Light, summer clothing like T-shirts, sleeveless tops, bermudas and a good comfortable pair of walking shoes for sightseeing.
A short-sleeved shirt and trousers for the theatre (musicals, plays, performances) or the Esplanade.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear As you can imagine, being near the equator, Singapore is very hot and humid. You will be walking quite a bit, so dress for the heat. I packed some slacks & Jeans and never wore them. It was much too warm. Cotton shirts are good because they breathe. I would also recommend taking handkerchiefs along, you will sweat nonstop & will need to wipe your forehead.
Luggage and bags The average daily temperature is around 32 c. or 95 degrees f. If you plan to go into any shopping centers for any length of time- you may want a sweater. The airconditioning in Singapore's shopping centers is quite strong. After being in a movie theater-you could be quite stiff and uncomfortable from the cold air.
Luggage and bags An empty lugguage will suffice to hold all your souvenirs and a new wardrobe..lol.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear For those who can afford, maybe you need not bring anything but an empty lugguage. You can buy most if not all the things which you would normally need to bring for travel.
