Viet Hoa Tips (4)

Viet Hoa: Vietnamese Style Indeed

Most of its staff are from vietnam and it gives you the feel of being in Vietnam in the restaurant. The furnishing is very simple and the menu is pasted on the walls. They have a wide range of noodles and rice dishes from vietnam and also some chinese dishes too.

Favorite Dish I like the Vietnamese Popiah(made from translucent rice wraps) and the beef balls rice noodles. The beef balls are huge and juicy and the rice noodles are light. The dishes come with bean sprouts and lemon.

Viet Hoa: Vietnamese Cuisine

The restuarant's settings is likely to make one give it a miss. It looks a bit old and run--down from the outside and even the inside looks simple.

Try the Viet noodles. The portion is just nice for one. (in comparison, found the Viet noodles in Syndey too much-good for 2 ladies size)

Favorite Dish Stuffed chicken wings

Hot (inside!), and lots of goodies inside (the chicken was stuffed with meat and veges)

Viet Hoa: Delicious Vietnamese Food!

We came across this restaurant by chance. After walking to Kings Park from our hotel in the evening and being rejected at Frasers (either our dress code was just too off, or the restaurant is genuinely booked out on a Tuesday night, or both), we walked to the bus depot and decided to jump on a bus to Northbridge. A small pleasant surprise that city bus travel is FREE! Alas the driver missed our stop at Northbridge and was headed to Morley, though he was very nice to flag down a bus going in the opposite direction back to town. So we got off at WIlliam Street, surprised to find the supposedly night district Northbridge so quiet! We would later find out another day that we have missed the busy part of Northbridge. As we walked along the street with few opened restaurants and quite empty, we came upon Viet Hoa. Wow this restaurant is different, it was filled with people, not only Asian but the local Australians who looked like they were really merrily enjoying their food with their BYO wine whilst about 10 other people were standing hungrily at the main door waiting to be seated. So we joined the queue, and were soon rewarded with great food! yummy...! Besides Vietnamese cuisine, Viet Hoa also offers Thai and SIngaporean dishes at affordabel prices. We went back a second time before we left Perth. I later read that Scoop WA travel magazine highly recommends this restaurant as well so we were lucky to find it without really looking!

Favorite Dish The Big Bowl of Beef Noodle Soup of course! So satisfying! but everything else comes a close second. The menu is so long that I think you will never run out of things to eat even if you were to eat there every day!

Viet Hoa: Undoubtedly the best Pho you'll find in Perth

Crikey. What can I say.

This place serves a mean bowl of Pho. I will not guaruntee that it's MSG-free, but, it sure tastes great!

Other highlights are the Duck noodle dish, the appetizers - spring rolls, stuffed chicken drumsticks, etc.

Finish this meal with Vietnamese Iced Coffee. They have real interesting (read-not for the shy) beverages too.

This restaurant is usually packed at lunch and dinner and the price point makes it all the better!

Favorite Dish Pho - Beef and beefball
Vietnamese spring rolls (summer rolls)
Stuffed chicken drumsticks
Vietnamese broken rice
