    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Even though there is an Autobahn that bypasses Hall in Tirol, still a lot of traffic passes through the centre of Hall in Tirol. The traffic was constant with hardly a decent gap between cars.
Trying to cross the road was quite difficult! It wasn't until later that I happened to come across this underpass, which of course I used, only wish I had found one earlier.
Look at my photo and you will see the sign to look out for!

    Highways toll

by ealgisi Written Jan 5, 2010

To use highways you must purchase and display a tax disc (vignette) on your vehicle. Choose from 10-day, 2-month and annual tax discs.

The penalty for not displaying a disc is €120 for cars and €65 for motorcycles. They are sold at border crossings, fuel stations and post offices.

    €7,50 for 10 days
    €22 for 2 months
€70 or so for a year
