Miniatuurstad Tips (2)

ANTWERP MINIATUURSTAD

Wednesday, August 3, 2005
This was one of the places we visited on our tour of Antwerp. It really was very interesting to see a miniature version of the city of Antwerp, especially when they turned on the lights to show the city in all its glory at night.
The buildings were created in exact detail of the original, only on a much smaller scale. The "Stadhuis" was particularly well done.

Entry fee was 5 Euros

Mini Antwerp

This is a reconstruction of Antwerp in miniature. It also will give the visitor an idea of the evolution of the city throughout the ages. It is a very special way to get to know the various sites before one heads off to see them 'lifesize

Sadly this peculiar and most interesting installation was forced to close its doors. The contents were sold at an auction.
