War Childhood Museum: A Testimony of Resilience

Opened in January 2017, the War Childhood Museum reflects the unique experiences of children during the Bosnian War. Founded by Jasminko Halilović, the museum seeks to preserve the memories of those who lived through the conflict.

The museum's collection features personal belongings, stories, audio/video testimonies, photographs, letters, drawings, and other documents. It presents a lighter narrative of wartime childhood through exhibits based on over 50 testimonies compiled from survivors of the Sarajevo siege.
