Fish Market Tips (2)

City Fish Market

You can smell the aroma from Riva Boulevard all the way up Marmontova, the more exclusive side of the city. The fish market is a real hub of activity in the morning hours and dies down to close up about 1-2PM. Fish hopefully is fresh; we bought some, and even though not refrigerated, it may not have been in the sun a long time. There is an indoor section, and an outdoor canopy that is fairly large.

The Fish Market

You will smell it before you see it. People seem to take the buying for dinner pretty serious. Probably not changed since it began in 1843. It is fresh from the boats .Opens early and closes early. It always looked like a sell out!!
