Licka kuca Tips (4)

Licka kuca: Dosengemüse! Tinned vegetables!

Wenn man Gemüse möchte, ist man hier völlig falsch. Dabei stehen auf der Karte Speisen wie "Vegetale Plate", "Bohnen kroatischer Art", Beilagen wie Möhrengemüse oder Erbsen etc.
Wir waren ungläubig, als Erbsen, Möhren und Bohnen aus Dosen und Gläsern serviert wurden. Selbst zu einer "Forelle Müllerin Art" wurden Bohnen aus Dosen oder Gläsern serviert. Als Apetizer gab es Industrieschmand aus Plastikbechern. Der sonst so gerühmter Schafskäse roch nach Kondenswasser oder ähnlichem. In einem auf der Speisekarte ausgewiesenem Gemüserisotto fanden wir ein Stück Schweinespeckschwarte. Dabei hatten wir vorher gefragt, ob es sich um ein vegetarisches Gericht handelt. Für das ganze Fiasko wurde ein stattlicher Preis verlangt. Zugegeben, die frische Bachforelle hat geschmeckt. Wir haben in unserem gesamten Kroatienurlaub immer ordentlich, gut oder sogar sehr gut essen können, aber was wir im "Licka kuca - Nationalrestaurant" serviert bekommen haben, war eine absolute Frechheit. Ich würde sogar von Betrug sprechen wollen, denn ein solches Essen bekommen noch nicht mal Sträflinge! Ich bin nicht anspruchsvoll, aber ich kann mich an kein schlechteres Essen in meinem Leben erinnern.

Licka kuca: Don't miss Lika's cheese and meat

After you finish your tour around Plitvice lakes, you must see this great restaurant. Here you can try meat prepared on traditional way, and great Lika's cheese. You will spent great time in wonderful ambient, after long day enjoying in Plitvice National Park. He was on top 100 restaurants list in 1996., 1997., 1999., 2000., 2003. and 2004. year.

Lucka Kuca: Restaurant Lucka Kuca

This is a standard place to eat in the park, located at the main entrance. Good local food. A bit overpriced (compared with other Croatian places), in May was still uncrowded (even on Saturday). Live music.

Licka kuca: Really local

Old Lika house with a fireplace in the middle offers a cosy atmosphere and friendly service. Really good local food too and at affordable prices!

Favorite Dish Lamb "peka" (baked under a metal bell", potatoes, fresh creme and fresh young onions
