Bazaar Mediteranee Tips (3)

Bazaar Mediterranee: Great roof terrace with mini-beach

I hope it is still there, visited summer 2004...

Combined café, restaurant and rooftop garden bar.

We only went for drinks when we saw the tempting terrace from the castle. It was more than 30 degrees Celsius and after sight seeing we could not resist the BEACH in the middle of Prague roofs! So we took our shoes off and lied on the beach chairs with cold beer thinking how great life can be!

Coming from city centre, you have to first climb up the hill and then, when you finally find Bazaar, you have to climp up hundreds (?) of steps! But it's worth it!

What we heard (but did not experience), they have dj in the evenings - must be great parties in this uncredible garden bar!

Favorite Dish They also serve food, but we did not check the menu..

Bazaar Mediterranée: Bazaar Mediterranée

We spotted this restaurant on our way up to the castle - you can see the garden patio if you look over the wall near the top of the hill (my picture doesn't do it justice!). Fortunately they have the address posted for the up above viewers so it wasn't hard to find once we got back down. We ate lunch in the zahrada (garden), which involved a journey though the dark, candle lit restaurant and up 70 steps. It was worth it! This was one of the best meals of the trip! Keep in mind that we only had lunch and didn't see any dancers (see web page)- could be an interesting night spot.

Favorite Dish It's all fabulous!

Bazaar Mediteranee.: Bazaar Mediteranee.

The outdoor patio was a great place on a nice day, but the indoor portion of the Bazaar was huge. It is supposed to be quite a nightspot as well.

Favorite Dish They serve a wonderful bread as an appetizer. All the food we had was great, they had good fish and grilled meat as well.
