The War of Independence Monument stands as a testament to Estonia’s historical fight for sovereignty.

Unveiled on 30 August 1992, this monument was originally established in 1925 by master builder Reinhold Veigel and construction engineer Ferdinand Gustav Adoff. It features a six-stage terraced concrete base and bronze forms, the latter crafted in Italy based on designs by Amandus Adamson. The statue, reaching a height of 8.5 meters, is a replica of the original structure destroyed in 1940, and was recreated by sculptor Lembit Palm and architect Kuno Raude, later restored in 2004.
