Majestic Heights of Puijo Tower

The Puijo Tower, located on Puijo Hill in Kuopio, stands 75 meters tall and offers remarkable panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and forests.

Opened in 1963, it was the first in the Nordic countries to feature a revolving restaurant. The tower is the third structure on this site; the first was built in 1856, followed by a second one in 1906, which was dismantled to make way for the current version.
