If you're interested in foie gras, there are a few specialty shops around Bergerac's vielle ville. In Sarlat, there was a harder sell in the stores, so this is a nice compromise (but I wasn't interested either way ~ it's not to my tastes).
The Bergerac wines are also well-renowned ~ particularly the sweet white Monbazillac. The best place to start with wines is at the Maison des Vins (see my Must See tips).

Arts Terres is a fantastic little shop owned and run by two potters ~ Caroline Vernet and Luis Jeronimo.
One portion of the store is devoted to their works (for sale and some for display); another portion is available for workshops for both adults and children.
Different types of earthenware and stoneware are available ~ in the form of tableware, decorative objects, etc.
What to buy: I picked up two small blue-glazed bowls with quotes engraved around the exterior. One was a Christmas gift for a friend, the other a unique keepsake for myself.
Most of the pieces were one of a kind. . .and there was a range of prices. If you're looking for something unique, I'd highly recommend dropping into this store.
What to pay: A complete range of prices ~ the bowls were about $20 each.
Address: 24, rue Neuve d'Argenson
Directions: This street runs north-south on the east side of the vieille ville of Bergerac.

In France are very popular small, specialized stores, where to buy bread (which is on a special place), wines and local delicacies. Of course, always remains supermarkets, where you can find almost everything. In most cases, large supermarkets are located nearby city borders. The most common are Carrefour, Casino, Intermarché and others.
And here's a little help for people who don't know French:
delicious bread or baguettes can be purchased at Boulangerie;
cheeses at Fromagerie;
meat at Boucherie;
cakes at Patisserie.
