Favorite thing: If you visit Nice/Nizza or the area and you have a car, please pay a visit to a village called Peillon. It is not too far. Have a good map as there might be more than one road taking you there, and the white roads on the map can be so narrow that you cannot face another car there.
The village looks just breathtaking as you approach it (see the main picture). Some people still live there! It is allowed to take a walk there, but be sure to have good shoes and some water summertime, it is very hilly.
Up there there is a scenic restaurant, where you can have your lunch watching down to the valley. The view is breathtaking.
There is also a small bar, a couple tables outside, just beside the restaurant, but there are some trees and plants hindering the view so the bar is not a scenic one but a nice place to cool down.
Fondest memory: I miss the narrow scary but funny roads where our car was too big to be turned in the curves and we had to back a couple of times to be able to move on!
The feeling when you first see the town when approaching from down.
