Olympic Park and Olympic Stadium Tips (8)

Olympiapark

Favorite thing Visit Olympiapark, where the 1972 Olympic Games took place. This park is still a lively and crouded part of the city. Do not forget to take the elevator to the top of the tower for great views of the park and the city.

You can also check out the park WEB site. Or have a look at the tower webcam.

OLIMPIAPARK

Favorite thing Constructed in 1972 for the olimpic games, a park designaded for this ocasion, take the lift to the tower and you will have this views from Munchen and their football stadium.

Olympiapark

Favorite thing The Olympiapark with the Olympic Stadium and many other Olympic sites, is covered by a huge spiderweb-like acryl glass roof.
It was built for the 1972 Olympic Summer Games in Munich. Constructions started in 1968.
This world-famous glass roof structure is considered to be one of the world's most outstanding architectural creations of the 20th century.

Favorite thing You should go to the Olympic's park build in 1972 - it is an impressive area with all kinds of sports facilities with very stylish architecture (The picture is the Olympic stadium). I went swimming in the Olympic bassin, there is also a 10 m diving-tower inside! Also, for an entrance fee of DM 5,- there is training facilities for weight-lifting all all that stuff included.
