Nature's Flora Oasis at Alpinum

Alpinum in Bremen is an expansive botanical haven that encompasses the renowned Rhododendron-Park, a significant horticultural site. Established in 1905 by businessman Franz Schütte, the garden initially organized various plant collections.

Spanning 46 hectares, the park features rhododendrons and azaleas alongside 3.2 hectares of botanical gardens. Originally founded in a different location, the garden moved to its current site within Rhododendron-Park in the late 1930s. The facility now showcases Germany's largest nature center, Botanika, opened in 2003, and offers visitors a chance to explore diverse plant species and cultural landscapes.
