Endless Castles

Favorite thing visit the various castles in and around the city. The new palace for example:
it reflects a lot of French influence. Today, in the central building, it houses the rooms for the representatives of the State Parliament; in the side wings the Inland Revenue and Cultural Ministries. As it leads up to the 'Small Palace Square' (pedestrian precinct called Kleiner Schlossplatz) there is a large statue by Calder, the 'Mobile', and other sculptures by Hrdlicka and Hajek.

Baden - Württemberg is an important business and industrial location as well; global companies such as Daimler - Benz, Bosch and Porsche have their headquaters here.

Fondest memory Situated in a picturesque basin, the state capital Stuttgart enjoys an enviable location. From the * Liederhalle* concert hall to the Wilhelma Botanical and Zoological Gardens.
