We like to call it an “Anti-Stress” massage since we do not focus on the deeper muscle layers but work more light in order to activate the nervous system (parasympathetic). Don't worry about the ""knots"" on your back though. We find them and give them a special treat as well! The aim is to detoxify and relax the body elevate the soul thus bringing a state of harmony balance and inner peace. Tzitzikas and Mermigas Tips (3)

Tzitzikas kai Mermigas: Satisfying!

It is a chain of Greek merchandise line. The one we dined at was close to Syntagma square.
It is always busy with groups of tourists and several locals and if you don’t book in advance you might have to wait to get a table.

It is a modern mezedhopoleio serving a tasty range of creative ‘meze’ to a bustling crowd.
We got two shots of raki and a tiny plate of 3 or 4 olives and a small pickle pepper right away. Have in mind that the two or three pieces of bread brought to accompany the food is charged at €2.30!

We had Fava for €4.90. It was delicious I can admit, nicely presented and the portion was average.

We asked for Kolokythokeftes ‘fried vegetable balls’. They were satisfying and the cost was €4.90. We tried ‘pitakia’ 4 in the portion but very small. These cost €6.10. They were ok but nothing special. I don’t recommend them.

We had 4 shots of raki and a beer. A bottle of beer costs €3.20

The restaurant was over packed and we had to wait for a while. Luckily we found a seat outside by the street pavement.

The entire time the waiters kept busy trying to meet the needs of everyone, however I cannot complain. Whatever we had we had it on time. With the restaurant full, service was impersonal but this is how it is out here.

In all, I found it satisfying, and I would love to return and try something different next time.

O TZITZIKAS KI O MERMIGAS: Cool ethnic dining

Very good modern Greek food. Cool retro design. Yet it is NOT touristy, as it's mostly frequented by locals :)

From the outside you would easily overlook it and walk right past, as the sign bearing it's name is barely visible. Instead, you see Heineken signs all over, hence assuming it's just a pub!

As you enter, you will see this place is always buzzing with activity. You can head upstairs via the stairs in the middle right, to enjoy a bit of quiet, yet with views over the restaurant and onto the street outside.

A good selection of wines is available. As soon as you select a table, shots of raki are served, along with capers & olives as bites.

Favorite Dish Sesame grilled chicken with raisin sauce, cooked wild greens, lamb with haloumi cheese in pastry.

Very delicious :)

Had our first Mythos beer here, which was very refreshing.

Tzitzikas and Mermigas: Greek cuisine..

The restaurant is decorated in a way that reminds of the old Athenian neighbourhoods and stores selling goods.
It serves dishes that include ingredients and recipes from all around Greece.
There are two restaurants ( a small chain). One is located in the area of Halandri and the other in Ano Patissia.

Favorite Dish Tzitzikas salad, fried zucchini, chicken with almonds and wine sause, mussels, "mastihato" chicken, grilled cheese from Lesvos....
