Favorite thing Halászbástya - The Fishermen's Bastion. This ornate terrace complex (built around 1900) provides a point from which you may enjoy a magnificent view of the Parliament building across the river as well as some refreshments. If you are hungry, there are a number of good restaurants close by.
Favorite thing Famous Fishermen Bastion.
The latter was built as a viewing platform in
1905, and named after guild of fishermen responsible for defending this stretch of wall in the Middle Ages.
It has commanding view over the city, and is dominated by seven gleaming turrets representing the seven Magyar tribes who entered the Carpathian Basin in the 9th century, and a statue of St Stephen on horseback.

Fondest memory Buda is the must in Budapest because of its beautiful churches (Matthias Church), Buda Castle Palace, old streets with great restaurants & best view over Danube & Pesta. Fishermen's Bastion is the best place for enjoying it.
