Indokina Tips (2)

Indókína: Great Asian food in Reykjavik

This restaurant serves a nice variety of Indonesian, Chinese, and Vietnamese specialities. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. While you are technically served by Icelanders, the food is prepared by Asians (not that it matters, but it's more authentic). Great place to eat overall. I love the upside down umbrellas hanging from the cieling. Also, the location is great! It's on one of Reykjavik's main shopping streets.

Favorite Dish Andrew's meat eaters tip:
Spicy duck meat soup
Lamb in peking sauce

Elisabeth's vegetarian tip:
Sauteed Tofu in sesame sauce

Indokina: Vietnamese cuisine

Surprisingly you can even have Vietnamese food in Reykjavik. The decor is no-frills but the price is right. They also do take-away. After Indokina you must admit that you can have cheap cuisine also in Reykjavik. Also the location is great.

Favorite Dish Typical ethnic Chinese and Vietnamese food.
