Cook's, South William Street - aparently changed hands Tips (2)

Cooke's: Lolling in the sun

Cookes has a wonderful location with a fabulous terrace on a pedestrian street in heart of the city. Its a very pleasant spot to linger on a sunny day. Only drawback is that its expensive. However, the service was with a smile and the coffee may have been the best I've ever tasted in Dublin (thanks to the v pretty Italian barista ;)

Cooke's

Cooke's
Cooke's oozes the kind of confident style that many restaurants aspire to, but never quite attain. You will be greeted warmly and presented with a comprehensive menu of contemporary cuisine. The restaurant is renowned for its breads and dips, so feel free to nibble away while waiting for your meal. The décor is restrained and elegant, with deep red walls and classical friezes, creating a timeless backdrop to your evening out. Cooke's has been a fixture on the Dublin scene for many years now and remains one of the city's best and most stylish restaurants.
