o' shea's/earth: best places 4 a nightout

hey, just thought i'd gave my view, spent a busisness wk down there recently but also wanted a nite on the town! O' Shea's excellent bar on West street age group extremly varied, in particular it suited 20-25 yr olds.. good music & atmosphere considerin it was a thur nite (also drink was cheaper than most places i visted). Earth a niteclub the only 1 i visted but again 4 a thur nite, good atmosphere and a variety of music.. younger age group in my opinion 18-25

I don't really have a favourite spot for having a night out. There are a few good pubs in the town. Redz is probably the most popular with the young people (21-35). But there are some quieter spots. The Mariner is a lovely pub, and its interior has to be seen
For the visitors who want to have a more traditional irish night out they should try Cairbres (pronounced car-berries). This pub is situated on North Strand. Ask any locals and they will point you in the right direction.

Dress Code Dress codes in drogheda are more or less as follows. If you want to drink in the pubs on the town (west street and sorrounding areas) then be neat. Men don't wear trainers (runners) you won't get in. If you are drinking in other pubs away from the town centre then you are safe in pretty much anything.
