River Shannon Cruise on way to Sligo

by arkryger Written May 27, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Taking a cruise on the majestic River Shannon through the beautiful rolling countryside of counties Leitrim and Roscommon. Famed in song and steeped in legend, the Shannon offers 258km of cruising waterway and is the longest river in the Brittish isles. Our cruise included tea and coffee and homemade scones and jam on the Moon River pleasure cruiser. One of our friends here was from Australia. Erin's favorite meal was scones with raspberry jam and I loved the clotted cream too.
