When on a day tour with Paddywagon our first stop was at Glendalough Hotel where our coach parked, and after exploring the lakes and visitors center there was still time to grab a snack at the hotel's snack bar. Drinks, sandwiches, cakes and other food was on offer. I just had a coffee and ham sandwich which was very good.
There is no actual restaurant in Glendalough itself. The only options open to you are the chip shop in the car park by the Upper Lake or the local hotel/pub.
Alternatively, you could stop in the nearby village of Laragh to fill up.

An Irish pub where they have great soup, Irish stew and sandwiches; especially when you have been out and about for the whole morning...
Favorite Dish: It was great!
No, I can't say too much here. It was just pub grub, really, but it was really good...
