Modern Perspectives at Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina

Located in the historical center of Naples, the MADRE Museum is a hub for contemporary art. The museum was founded in 2005 by the Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza Vieira, transforming the former Palazzo Donnaregina from the 19th century into a space dedicated to modern creativity.

Spread over three floors, the museum includes 7,200 m² of exhibition space showcasing permanent collections, temporary exhibitions, and unique site-specific installations. Its architecture is a restoration of a landmark that dates back to the 13th century.
