Bardolino Tips (4)

Bardolino

Bardolino has about 6,000 inhabitants and lies on the southeast side of Lake Garda.

Bardolino is a very nice place to pick a terrace and also has a lot of nice shops. The World Champion 2011 Pizzeria is situated in Bardolino. So if you want a nice pizza visit this address

Pizzeria LA CONCHIGLIA - Via Borgo Garibaldi, 19 - 37011 Bardolino

We also ate pizza here and weren't disappointed, so I recommend eating pizza for lunch here.

Bardolino

Bardolino is a more modern lake resort but has lovely lakeside promenades (could walk into Garda from here if wished, or cycle. Lovely wide main pedestrianised street leading down to the ferry point too. Also noticed that several hotels had bicycles for hire and these seemed popular for getting about on – and they can even be taken on the lake boats and steamers. There was a colourful small harbour and just the stump of a former castello - adjoined to Hotel Catullo.

Bardolino

Bardolino is one of the top and most popular destinations of Lago di Garda. Besides the beautiful old core of the town, Bardolino offers attractive beach resorts but, above all, long promenade which lead you through the place and all surrounding settlements.
When in Bardolino, do not miss to taste the fine red wines which are among the best in Italy.

Bardolino

Bardolino is internationally famous for its production of Bardolino wine. It is also a pretty well known tourist resort and offers a wide range of hotels, apartment complexes, camping sites and sports facilities.

We once walked to Bardolino from Lazise (which takes about an hour, if you take your time) and later we enjoyed the panorama from the ferry boat (only 10 minutes from Lazise).
