Piaggio

This picture is taken close to Sorrento, south of Napoli. To me these piaggio's are so typical to rural Italy. They always make me smile and make me think back to the great time I had here.

Crossing Europe with low budget

Visiting several places in Europe became cheap. Take Ryan Air or Virgin, and explore Europe from south to north, from west to east.

Trains

The Eurostar is the Italian star of railways, it is fast, comfortable and you can have a meal inside it, a ticket from Rome to Venice will coast you 20 Euros for one way ticket, but it is superb!

Tiny cars... is it a toy?

Okay, you can rent a car, you can go by train, you can fly. I prefer, as we know, to drive. :) Here's the tiniest car I've ever seen -- it was stopped next to us in Milan.

Romantic Gondola

A gondola ride, even though it is expensive, is still a must in Venice. You see a different view of Venice from the gondola. The lights in Venice at night make the ride very romantic.

Go by tram in Milano

The tram is great, you see a lot and you can open the windows. A much better alternative than the packed trains.
