Vilnius University Botanical Garden: Nature's Treasure

Established in 1781, the Vilnius University Botanical Garden (VUBG) reflects centuries of botanical knowledge. Spread over Vingis Park and Kairenai Estate, it is the largest botanical garden in Lithuania.

With around 11,000 taxa from 220 families, collections include rhododendrons, lilacs, and dahlias. VUBG has historical significance, having moved locations over time, with remnants of its estate architecture preserved. Cultural events, such as concerts and exhibitions, occur annually, enriching the visitor experience.
