While we are having our starters another guy is coming in. It seems that he is the chef here. Ok, we think now it's back to normal.
The boss is starting to tidy up the chaos behind the bar and ion the tables.
He is also coming to our table and arranges my canteen. Afterwards he is taking Carstens serviette as he thinks it is clean... Well it isn't, it's already used. He notices it and don't know what to do for a second. He decides to put it on Carstens knees....hahaha!
After that he is going back to the bar and suddenly very loud music is coming out of the boxes... All guests starts laughing. " Shall we dance know ?" one is shouting! Seems that's Snoops choice of music, as some hip hop music is entertaining us, very uncommon for a chinese restaurant we think.
We finished our starter already and are waiting for the main course. Snoop is asking us if we want our main course now. Yes, we said. A minute later the chef is coming to our table: "Have you had your main course?"
Well, it would be nice to have it, and it's coming a minute later or so. The last unclear thing is that we wanted rice as a side dish. "Egg rice?" "No, just rice!" :) Thank you for a n entertaining evening and fro the free dessert....
The clou was that we read the newspaper the next days, and guess who we saw there? The "Chef" himself, with a recipe of a soup...hahahah. It really was the chef of two Chinese restaurants on Malta.
Favorite Dish: The food have been really good here. I had the spring rolls as a starter, which were four big ones. Carsten tried the sesame prawn toasts, aslo very yummy.
I also had chicken with cashew nuts, one of my favourite chinese dishes. It was very delicious.
For the free dessert we chose the baked banana! Yummy too!

When we entered the restaurant there was hardly any person in there, four tables were seated with guests. It was strangely quiet in there as no music was on.
We took a seat and a young chinese men wearing a snoop Doggy Dog Shirt came to our table and asked if we could wait a minute. We said sure and wondered why he was so nervous. It seemed that the usual waiter was missing here.
After a while he came back and asked what we wanted to drink and eat? Well, he not really asked he smiled and held the paper in his hands :)
Ok, we ordered a beer and a Kinnie and asked for the menu. Good. He came back and he said, that there is only Diet Kinnie left, well ok....
After a while he got us our drinks. Meanwhile the English guests of the neighbor table asked for a wine. "Snoop" couldn find it and asked the guests, if they would have a look at the bar for themselves.... That's what they did, and they found the wine they were looking for. The english guest said: "Give me the corkscrew, I can see that you are busy!" The two other guys were still behind the bar searching for some other drinks...
During all this the two cooks were watching the scene from behind the kitchen door. There was a little window were they had a look out what was happening in the restaurant. It looked so funny, because the one wasn't tall enough, so you could only see his eyes. The other one was leaning over his shoulders.....sometimes...
Ok, back to our table. After a while he again came to us to take our order, but he forgot the menu again. As he stood in front of us he remembered, and got the menu for us...
We order a few minutes later.
Ok, we are waiting for our starters. "Snoop" is coming to our table again, and asks us if we have been here before? We are wondering about such a question. A second later he is back with a plate full of Krupuk. Aha!
After a while our starters are coming. The plates are put on the heater, instead of in front of us....well ok, no problem....we fix this.

This restaurant is situated right int he middle of Melliehas main street. It has a (loud) terrace to the street and inside you find a cavelike tunnel, which is quite nice too. We always decided to sit inside, as the street is really loud and we didn't wanted all the emissions in our food either...
Favorite Dish: My favourite was the traditional rabbit stew. We also tried the buffet dinner which takes part every friday evening. For 5.50 Lm you can try all the specialities of the Maltese cuisine, such as Maltese Sausage, Maltese Goat Cheese, Octopus Salad etc.
There have been rabbit, chicken and a fish served with filled vegetables or potatoes. All have been very tasty and I nearly couldn't walk out of the restaurant because it was too much.
Had a Maltese Chardonney wine with the meals each time, which was very tasty too.
