  • Terrace Garden Cafe: Cool at Lunchtime!

by Simhedges Written Dec 30, 2003

It's the location that makes this Cafe. The food is OK, but nothing special. The cafe is between the walls of Valletta and is where an old gun emplacement used to guard the main bridge into the Valletta, so it has a great view of the fortifications and the main roadway into Valletta. It's cool at lunchtime, and you can while away the time just peoplewatching.

Nearby is a little Maltese folk museum which is quite fun.

Favorite Dish: Ice Cream - because I needed it.
You can also get the local Maltese fizzy drink here: Kinnie. Ugh.

    Address: Valletta Bastions

Directions: It's not easy to find, and I can't remember how we got there!

Terrace Garden Cafe: Between the walls

by Hockeylady Updated Jul 10, 2003

Visit this restaurant in a peculiar place between the old defence walls. I´m not sure if it´s open only for lunch.
