Baba Tips (5)

twilight zone: I can't believe nobody tells about this

the twilight zone is a little and very confortable coffee shop.Somebody wouldn't enter because there are a lot of coffees that seem to be better than this. But,listen to me: if your idea is to smoke the best hash joints at the lowest prices you must absolutely get in it.
I suggest you to try Tibisla(it's a special cream that gives you the idea about having smoked *** till yesterday, the price is 7 euros per gram, less than the not so good creams you can find in shops like Baba,Bulldog, grasshopper,la canna.)There's also a pretty girl working there:so listen to me and go to the twilight zone!

ArenA Boulevard

A whole new business and nightlive center has arisen near the Amsterdam ArenA. Here you'll find the Heineken Music Hall, a venue for music concerts. There is also a large cinema, Pathe. The only disadvantage of this location is that it is not that safe at night.

Amsterdam is to be savored at night.
My favorite coffee bars: Baba, Bulldog and the Rocket Cafe
I loved Baba because of the elephant motif. It was also very comfy, with couches and low tables.

Bulldog--I know this is the most famous place, and yet it is still damn *cozy*. I love how people engrave their names and such into the wood (see photo). This place is an institution!

Rocket--I have no idea how to tell you to get there. But find it. The 'bartender' (or whatever you call him) was this very friendly Jamaican guy who was very accomodating :)

Let me also say, the coffee in these places is damn good too.

Dress Code ANYTHING!!

This is not a fine-dining experience and *be glad*.

Various: The coffeeshops

You can't get the full Amsterdam experience without going to a coffeeshop. The atmosphere alone is unique, find a nice quiet one to chill out in, you will probably find the bartender speaks excellent English and is very laid back and helpful.
