The pub : TEASERS...100 meters from the train station, in the main street. Nice dancers over the bar, you HAVE to drink, and the prices are as expensive as the girls are pretty :) It isn't a strip club !!!!!!!! Vincent and Christophe enjoyed the place :) It costs 5 Guldens to take a pict! (2 euros)

Teasers Amsterdam

This is the closest thing to Hooters I have seen in Europe. The music is LOUD and usually upbeat dance or Top 40 type. The beers are big and maybe a little expensive. They serve food, but we have only had the fries which were OK. The bartenders and waitresses dress in butt baring shorts and tank tops that are at least two sizes too small. Periodically (15-20 minutes) every one at the bar has to pick up their drinks to make way for the bar show. They wipe down the bar and one of the staff puts on a pseudo-strip tease dance. The bar also offers body shots. When some orders a shot they make a lot of noise and do a shot out of a waitress's cleavage.

Unique Suggestions If you go to Teasers expect it to be loud. I have read a lot of complaints about this, just expect it if you go and don’t go if you don’t like it. The location on Damrak close to the station can make it a bust place in the evening. Just like Hooters you’re paying for the scenery and the show. The food is going to be marginal. I think of it as Hooters with an attitude. In a town where prostitution and marijuana is legal Teasers seems tame to many. On the other hand if a show at the Cassa Rosa is a little too much for you Teasers may fit the bill.

Teazer's Bar, Damrak

On my eighth visit to Amsterdam, I finally succumbed to the temptation to see what the fuss was all about. I realised exactly why I had avoided it: it's overpriced (12e for a litre of stale, flat lager) there are vinegar flies all over the place, the toilets cost 50c a *visit* and the girls range from barely interested to downright hostile.

Unique Suggestions Oh, ok. Go. Just to have a look. I did, after all. Make your drink last, though, and laugh at the old men in suits nursing one coca-cola for hours on end.

Fun Alternatives Wander around the red light district. It's much more titillating, and cheaper.
