Consecrated in November 2004, Som Church is a modern place of worship in Kristiansand that stands out due to its distinctive architecture and cultural significance.

Designed by architects Arild Lauvland and Arne Amland, the church exhibits red-brick construction paired with a remarkable 43-meter glass painting by artist Kjell Nupen. The artwork stretches from the altar over the roof to the main entrance, emphasizing the motto, 'from darkness to light.' This piece is not only an aesthetic focal point but also symbolizes the church's mission.
