Favorite thing Novi Sad is a city of fairs. There are numerous traditional international fairs taking place in Novi Sad. Novi sad Fair is an complex with 223,800 m2 on which there are 52,000 m2 in exhibition/business facilities, some 100,000 m2 of outdoor covered and uncovered exhibition space, and remaining in green areas. The greatest exhibition on Novi Sad Fair is The International Agricultural Fair on which every year participate 1,800 exhibitioners from Yugoslavia and 30 different countries of the World. Besides the agricultural there are, also UFI (International Fair Association) members, The International Autumn Fair and The International Fair of Hunting, Fishing, Sport and Tourism also known as LORIST. Besides those there are different more than 20 fair shows over the year (of electronics, furniture, medicine, books, graphic, arts, machines...). On Novi Sad Fair shows over the year there are some 4,000 exhibitioners and they are visited by more than 1,000,000 visitors. There are, also, numerous economical and political delegations from all over the world visiting fairs every year. Foreign exhibitioners make some 40% on the Novi Sad Fair shows. In business center of Novi Sad Fair and on the participants stands around 400 symposia, seminars, round tables, promotions and news conferences take place, with more than 5,000 participants (scientists, economists, journalists).
