Established in 1855, Jardin Botanico Historico La Concepcion offers a glimpse into the subtropical flora from five continents. Originally a recreational farm for Malaga's upper class, it features a unique variety of plants.
The garden spans 23 hectares, showcasing over 50,000 plants, including more than a hundred species of palms and aquatic plants. The Loring-Heredia family, who conceived the gardens, were influential railway builders who also gifted Malaga with its archaeological collection.
