Town Hall, Mijas
The Town Hall of Mijas is definitely worth a visit - and it's free. If you park in the main parking structure for Mijas, and take the elevator up, you'll walk right past it. This is a beautiful multi-story building with striking Moorish archways, fountains, central courtyards, beautiful lighting fixtures, and stained glass windows. It was rather amazing to us that a relatively small town would have such a beautiful town hall.
The Town Hall of Mijas is in the very center of Mijas opposite the bus station, so that was the first building we saw on entering the village of Mijas. It is a lovely white building, with its very own Foreigners' Department due to the vast number of foreigners residing in Mijas. Mijas has one of the largest proportion of foreign residents in Spain!
Opposite the Town Hall is the bus-station where you get the 122 bus to and from Mijás.
