"Outside of the centre and away from the mainstream attractions you’ll find a very different Copenhagen: across the water to the East lies the self-declared Free State of Christiania and just south of the central train station the über-hip district of Vesterbro. This 2.5-hour tour is a story of two distinct neighborhoods one known for its green-light district the other for its red-light district each with a fascinating history bound together by their vibrant diversity and uncompromising counter-culture. Indian Haweli Tips (1)

Indian Haweli: Curry house

You would be forgiven for thinking that you'd stepped into something other than an Indian as the owners have kept the old Mediterranean interior but that's so they could concentrate on the food! The portions are generous without being expensive and you will find the typical dishes you expect and some more. Popular with young people going for a night out at nearby Möllevången but nevertheless very peaceful on a weekday evening.

Favorite Dish Palak paneer - Indian cheese with spinach...oh, and the mango lassi of course!
