Alpenrose Landscape Gardens

Established in 2015 by Carl Cronje, this landscaped garden is a prominent attraction in Wilderswil.

Over two years, Cronje redesigned the gardens, showcasing a variety of features including a rose garden, an organic vegetable garden supplying local restaurants, and a herb garden. The site is also home to nearly 20 tall forest trees, all framed by glaciers and mountains.
