Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant Tips (1)

Lalibela, Ethiopian Restaurant

Lalibela, Ethiopian Restaurant
If you book, I would recommend you ask for a table upstairs. It is like a museum with lots of Ethiopian relics on the walls, and the seating is traditional low tables and chairs.

Favorite Dish Ethiopian meals are very sociable events. You share a large plate with up to 4 people. The plate is covered with a sour dough called injera. If you are with 4 people, most likely you would order 3 meat dishes and 2 vegetables. My favourite is chicken avocado. And another popular dish is Doro Wot, a spicy chicken dish with an egg. The dishes are placed on top of the injera and you eat with your hands.
