Tai Ka Lok Tips (2)

Tai Ka Lok: Good Chinese here in Chinatown

Mark had raved about this Chinese restaurant located here in Chinatown so during my first visit to London we had a very nice dinner here.

The restaurant was cozy and nice and the staff very friendly. The menu is large with a wide selection of authentic Chinese food. Nothing like the restaurants in NYC :)

Mark ordered lettuce wraps as an appetizer which were yummy, a duck dish and some other dishes which I can't recall off hand. I do recall the food being very good.

Favorite Dish Fried rice dishes along with the duck and the best dumplings around.

Tai Ka Lok Restaurant: Chinese, of course!

Few years ago I spoke with a friend from China who lives in my Home town, Rome. He told me that the best chinese restaurant sare in London, and I must admit he was right!
Of coursse, chinatown area is plenty of asian restaurants, and it is very difficult to make a choice if you aren't a real expert. By the way, I think the restaurant where I had dinner was ok, even the quantity of food they serve is always oversize!
