Right across the street from a branch of Stockpot is a very similar restaurant serving reasonably priced 3 course meals or ala carte meals, it was £8.60 for a 3 course dinner. There's a regular menu and different specials every day for the 3 course meal.
We were seated upstairs right near the kitchen, I wish we had known there was an air conditioned lower level because it was quite warm near the kitchen on a very warm day.
Favorite Dish I ordered spicy chicken wings for my 1st course, a chicken cutlet smothered in cheese for my main course (can't remember what it was listed as on the menu) which came with a side of chips (french fries) and a small salad. Dessert was a golden syrup sponge cake served with custard, not nearly as sweet as it looks but still pretty good. The portion size was HUGE, none of us even came close to finishing our meals. The food was very good, based on two meals at Stockpot on previous trips and one here, I would pick West End Kitchen over Stockpot although both offer good value.
This is a local place as it's very cheap. Located just off Leicester Square, you can get a 2 course meal for £3.90 and a 3 course for £4.90. Soup is £1, lasagne with chips and vegetable £3.60, puddings about £1.60. Oh, and Spaghettl Bolognaise at £2.90. Very good food, cheap and excellent service. Plus comfy booths which you can sit in for ages and they don't mind. Tea is 70p BARGAIN!!
Favorite Dish The soup is always tasty and bread/butter costs a mere 70p extra. Spaghetti Bolognaise was delicious too.
A really short walk from Leicester Square or Piccadilly Circus, this restaurant offers amazing value for money. The food, service and surroundings are basic and down-to-earth, with prices to match. Ideal if you're on a budget!
The West End Kitchen in Panton Street for anyone on a low budget. On a Sunday you can get a three course meal for £6.50.
Its a great meeting point whereby you can meet somebody and then go on from there afterwards. It's near to Leicester Square.
Favorite Dish Spaghetti Bolognese
