Althorp House - This is home to where Diana, Princess of Wales is buried. This was her ancestral home. Her brother, Earl Spencer, now lives here. This is a must see when coming to Northamptonshire. Althorp House is located close to Northampton and is open most days of the year. The entrance fee of £10 per person gives you access to the house and gardens and also to the Diana museum. The museum is dedicated to Diana and you can see photographs from when she was young to her wedding dress. However there is no access to the island where she is buried.
