This pub has been transformed by the current couple-friendly atmos, great food, SUPERB BANDS ON SATURDAY NIGHT WITH FREE ENTRY!, All the rotters have been cleared out and the pub has changed DRAMATICALLY! Went in for a quick pint with a pal and stayed ALL NIGHT!...... have been back a few times since and every night is great. No kids to fall over (OVER 21's after 7pm) no aggro, no clickyness, and no s**t! Great fun and i would highly recommend a visit! I don't drink it myself, (I drink guinness, which is the best pint of the black stuff you'll get in the town!) but apparently (according to my pal who is in CAMRA) the real ales are SUPERB! Basically its all here, apart from screaming kids! Dogs are welcome on a lead and theres a fabby garden! quiz night tues is apparently a laugh (Not been myself) and FREE bowl of chilli if you get there before its all gone (about 6pm is a good bet!). Bikers welcome, secure car park and bike meets food arranged by phone! All in all a top pub and well worth a visit! Open the box 4 cash on Sunday at 4PM. Its all good. Proper old fashioned pub-food on the bar, roast spuds and seafood.... I'll stop waffling now-Go there! (No i'm not being paid for this!!!!!!!)
