Belfast Day Trip from Dublin
"Starting from a central Dublin location your day trip departs early to beat the traffic on the drive north to Belfast. In the mid-morning you’ll enter Northern Ireland and reach Belfast the country’s capital city. Here you will have a guided coach tour of Belfast City where you'll be shown the Belfast peace walls that act as peace lines between the Catholic and Protestant communities. Look out for the wall murals that tell stories of community disputes from both sides of the fence. After a light-hearted introdu you’ll have approximately two hours to spend at leisure and your guide will happily offer directions to recommended lunch spots. Suggested Belfast attractions for you to see include Belfast Cathedral (also known as St Anne’s Cathedral)

Little Italy Tips (2)

Little Italy: Pizza to go!

Little Italy is great! Just join the queue and get your Pizza to go - this is quite a small takeaway Pizza Place, and is a real favourite with the staff of the nearby Opera House, or people coming out of the pubs on the Golden Mile. I always meet people from all over the place in that queue, great pizzas at good prices. I have met a lot of people who are guests at the nearby Europa Hotel who are
just taking a couple of Pizzas back to their hotel room, good idea!

Favorite Dish It depends on my mood - they have some flyers on the counter, so why not grab one and ponder your order while you are in the queue. You see the guys make and bake the Pizza in front of you, and they are reasonably priced.

Little Italy: best pizzas this side of the irish sea

This is a very popular place for people who are going from one pub to another and who are need of something to put in their stomachs instead of beer and whiskey. It is just your typical pizza place where there are no tables or chairs you just come in and order and stand while it is made but it is near a place called blackstaff square where you can find seats to sit if the weather is good. The guy who makes the pizzas is called Jack...but to honest i dont think that is his real name, everybody just calls him Jack. You have to be carefull here becuase people are sneeky and when you arent looking thy may try and steal a slice of your pizza, so stay alert. My advice is to get your pizza and hide somewhere quiet to eat it.

Favorite Dish Every pizza in this place is good. He makes a pizza which is folded in half so its like a sanwich...hmmmmm...good stuff
