Experience Nature at Falls of Shin
The Falls of Shin is a celebrated location for observing salmon leaping in their natural habitat, particularly during the spawning season from June to September.
Originally opened in the late 20th century, the former Falls of Shin center was known as the 'Harrods of the North' until it was destroyed by fire in May 2013. The local charity, Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust, successfully funded its reconstruction, culminating in the reopening in May 2017. Visitors can enjoy well-designed forest trails, a viewing platform, and a salmon-shaped cafe.
